5 Ways to Fix a Bad DayWe all have them. There are good days and there are bad days. Sometimes bad days just can’t be fixed. After a streak of some rough days a few months ago I started thinking about different ways I use to fix a bad day. Some work most of the time and some really don’t work that often. Every once and awhile you’re allowed to have a bad day. Just remember…it will get better.

1. Workout

This is my number one go to during a stressful day/week lately. When I started running again a year and a half ago I never imagined that it would be the best way to clear my mind. Getting a good run in before my day even starts as fixed a lot of rough moods.

2. Write it Down

Sometimes it helps to get all of your frustrations out without even having to talk through them. Write it down on a piece of paper and throw it away. Once they’re out they might even disappear. If not…see number 4.

3. Find a Craft

I have said more than one time that knitting is my sanity. Do you like scrapbooking? Crochet? Pick up something that will keep your hands busy and over time your mind will settle.

4. Chocolate

Indulge in something covered in chocolate. Yes, this off sets exactly what you were hoping to achieve by working out but a little double chocolate brownie never hurt anyone… Just don’t eat the whole pan.

5. Go to Bed

I know, you’re not supposed to go to bed mad. Sometimes you just need to crawl in bed, pull the covers over your head and call it a day. Tomorrow will be better.
