Lemon Oreos, A Day Off & Friday Favorites

Lemon OreosHappy Friday everyone. Today is a random day off for me so Little Man and I plan on exploring the library a little bit & maybe sneaking in some fall pictures. We’ll see how the weather holds up.

First things first, has anyone else tried the new Lemon Oreos? We have a rule in our department at work… every new flavor of Oreo we have to give it a shot. The Pumpkin Spice ones didn’t go over all that well, but we ate almost a whole package of Lemon ones in one day. You should pick some Lemon Oreos up. It is safe to say that Reeses & S’Mores still top my list of favorite oreos.

During a quick lunch trip to the mall this week, I decided to stop into Books a Million. It’s fun to browse their books & book club books. They always have some good bargain books for kids and adults. I picked up All Aboard Noah’s Ark! (A Chunky Book(R)) for the little man. His attention span for books isn’t that great still so I always prefer to read the shorter stories with him. We have a few other chunky books and they’re just as great as board books (except they hurt more when they are dropped on your foot). This was adorable and will be well used in our house!

I also ran across 365 Stories & Rhymes For Boys book and it looks really cute. I didn’t pick up a copy but I think it might be something we pick up soon.

The best & worst part about my birthday month is all of the discounts and free stuff that shows up in my email. I love the free food options (Portillos, Panera, Qdoba, Noodles) but at the same time the 10% off in honor of my birthday got me at Fabletics! I fully intended to skip this month since the graffiti pants got me last month. 10% off and some of my favorite workout gear caught my attention… my shipment will be here next week!

On a completely different note…Facebook popped up an ad for me this week to try Unroll.me. I was iffy about it but my email spam is getting out of control. Every week I try and unsubscribe to emails but I feel like I’m just getting more and more. I decided to give it a shot. So far my inbox has been a lot cleaner. I’m still a little confused as to how it all works, but for now I can actually read my emails without being overwhelmed.

What is your favorite flavor of Oreo?
